How to update the Moisture Sensor over Bluetooth®. This process is a faster method of performing firmware updates but requires the operator to be standing next to the Moisture Sensor installed on the clean grain elevator.
- Update the FarmTRX Harvest App to the latest version in the Google Play or App Store
- Open the FarmTRX Harvest mobile app
- Connect to the Yield Monitor
- From the main menu, open the Connection page
- Click the device name of your Yield Monitor
- Click prompts to perform Yield Monitor update
- Restart the Yield Monitor after update is completed
- Once Yield Monitor has been restarted, return to the Connection page of the mobile app and click the three dot icon
in the top right of the screen
- Toggle on "Show All Devices"
- Return to the Connection page of the app. The Moisture Sensor will now show up on the list of available devices. If you do not see the device name, you may need to stand beside the Moisture Sensor on the clean grain elevator.
- Press the blue "Update Firmware" button next to the Moisture Sensor in the available devices list
- Follow the prompts to update the Moisture Sensor
- Restart the Yield Monitor once more
- Return to the Connection page of the app, connect to the Yield Monitor as normal
