FarmTRX yield maps can be exported as .KMZ files through the FarmTRX Web App, and imported into Google Earth for field scouting.
- Log in to the FarmTRX Web App. If it is your first time, here's how to register your Web App account. Field boundaries need to be established in the Web App account for synced yield data to appear. If harvest data has been synced to the web app without corresponding field boundaries, it is not lost. It will appear once boundaries are created.
- Under the Fields tab, select the desired field for export by clicking on the field name and the desired yield map layer.
- Click the gear icon under the field name.
- Click Export Harvest.
- Select the desired output type, Google Earth (.kmz) format and click Export. Extract all contents from the zipped file on your computer.
- In Google Earth, click New > Local KML File > Import
- Select the FarmTRX file for upload.
- The yield map is now uploaded to Google Earth.
