To share CAN GPS from a Trimble FM750, a wire harness will have to be made that exports the CAN communication from the Trimble display into the FarmTRX harness (4 Pin connector near main FarmTRX ECU Plug).
There are two options available as described here:
Option one:
Shown below are photos of what the Trimble Port B connector will need to look like. In the picture the Green wire Pin 12 ("CANLow "top right on connector) will need to T into the CANLow (light blue wire on Pin 4 of the FarmTRX 4 pin connector) and the Yellow wire on Pin 1 Port B connector (CANLow bottom right on connector) will need to T into the CANHigh (Green wire on pin 3 of the FarmTRX 4 pin connector).
Pin Out Chart One:
| Trimble 12 pin Deutsch Connector | FarmTRX Harness 4 Pin Connector |
| Pin 1 (CANHigh) | Pin 3 (CANHigh) |
| Pin 12 (CANLow) |
Pin 4 (CANLow) |
Option Two:
Alternatively, there is a 4 pin Deutch connector coming off the Trimble display power harness labeled P2 CAN that you can plug into. See pictured below where the Green wire on pin 4 on Trimble connector side is CANLow and will be plugged into the blue wire on Pin 4 on FarmTRX side and Trimble Pin 2 (CANHigh) Yellow wire will get plugged into Pin 3 (Green wire (CANHIgh) on FarmTRX side).
Pin Out Chart Two:
| Trimble 4 pin Deutsch Connector | FarmTRX Harness 4 Pin Connector |
| Pin 2 (CANHigh) | Pin 3 (CANHigh) |
| Pin 4(CANLow) | Pin 4 (CANLow) |
To confirm you are successfully pulling the GPS feed from the FM750 please do the following:
1. Navigate to the FarmTRX Harvest App
2. Select the hamburger menu and Advanced Settings
3. Select Yield Monitor and see that the GPS Antenna is External (CAN), as pictured below
You've successfully shared CAN GPS from a Trimble FM750 to your FarmTRX Yield Monitor System.
